Halloween is coming your way!

Halloween is around the corner so I came up with some characters that I googled online.

Introducing the 4 of them to you now.

Popart can be quite fun as you inserts colours, stripes, words and etc to express the fun comical look but in an arty way ^_^

Another level unlocked after finishing this set of nails!

I'm not really a fan of Harry Potter but I did read the book when I was younger.

Googled about it and there were some images like the owl, logo etc.

I super like how the whole set turn out. YAYS! ^_^

Quite disappointed in the logo actually as I drew the P too low. 

But anyway, it still turned out fine.

Inspired by a song was really difficult as there are too many songs to choose from, but it struck me suddenly that musical notes make these songs too!

I really love how the musical notes fell all over the place like a song is playing from the piano.

This is my 1st water marbling success. LOL.

I still feel that it's not that perfect but somehow the tie dye look is there.

I actually sponge on the colours in the background before using water marbling to achieve the overall look.

Then again to make it look nicer, I top it off with fairy dust and quickdry.

This whole set looks more like the tainted glass to me.

I really like how the glitters shines in the semi transparent.

But somehow I feel that the 2nd nail is abit weird?

This wasn't the initial design I wanted.

I wanted to do a newspaper print but I screwed it up so ya.... back to Konad stamping.

I choose the lace design on this light blue tone base which is something I've yet to try on and border framed it with Misa gold glitter.

Added some blings and for the fourth finger, I did a reverse glitter french.

I'm satisfied with this afterall. It's not that bad right?

I used white for the base with colourful polka dots cos colourful stuffs make me happy!

And I hope they make you happy too. :)

A very simple set of nails for today's challenge.

I also ended the design with a coat of fairy dust glitters so that the colours looked more vibrant and bling bling at the same time ^_^

I SUPER LOVE THIS BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL DESIGN!

Was cracking my brains cos I don't like to draw rainbows, they look cute but I couldn't think of anything to match with a rainbow......

Then, my little niece came in and told me "Little Ponies got rainbow dash leh!"

I'm not in favour to draw cartoon cos I have proportioning problem.

I can nv perfect eyes of cartoons and they always turned out like weirdos. hahahaha..

Wanted to do an ombre but saw the next challenge is gradient nails.

Stucked already so just anyhow paint first.

Ended up half the rainbow colours and TADAH!

Added glitter topcoat before Seche Vite Quickdry and added blings to enhace them.

GORGEOUS! LOVE IT! ^_^

A simple yet classy metallic nails for you?

Initially I wanted something like the rocker metallic type using silver but ended up using gold.

Cos I've been doing so much metal rock nails until I'm sick of the colours. LOL!

Did some lace stickers in the middle and added blings to enhance the accent nail.

WOOOHOOO!

A very simple set of black and white nails done. 1 of the black nail I topped it off with the glitter and matte it off. IT'S AWESOME! ^_^

Improving on the nailart as my hands are still shaking as I'm on medication for my heart condition.

Lines and freehand have become a stranger to me. We were once so close but lacking in practice can pull us apart. LOL. I say until like we are in a relationship. Yeah? Now it's like a love and hate thing. HAHA!

I will still continue to work better results but mean time probably I will do more on simple designs and Konading.

Don't look down on stamping art cos it's not really very easy to master the professional stamping.

I really envy those staying in the US cos they have BM stamps etc. and they all stamps and do like a nice la!

I need to buck up.

I painted 4 half french of light purple and dark purple on top with Daiso Sakura flowers nailart stickers.

Daiso got alot of nice nailart stickers at just $2!

I painted 1 accent nail of the dark purple topped with glitter polish.

I finally did a different feel of matte nails other than rocker nails!

YAYS!^_^

Initially I wanted to top it off using my normal Seche Vite Quickdry but by matting it makes the whole set looks so different!

Before adding the art it was just plain orange with black and they looked abit like pumpkin.

LOL!! After adding the details with a dotting tool and the Konad design, I'm amazed at this new creation!

It may not be too much of freehand but I'm happy with the results.

I painted 3 fake nails red.

The other 2 I just drew black lines and used the gold liner to enhance the design.

Added a little red ribbon and some embellishments to make the nailart not so "dead".

Lastly, I topped it off with the best quickdry Seche Vite that I've been using all these years.

31 Days Nailart Challenge

Saw this online and thought to myself that I could actually practice and decided to take up the challenge!

Candylicious Nails for Chrysan

Sorry for not updating as often as I used to.

Here is a set of colourful cupcakes and sweet tooth nails for Chrysan last month?

Chrysan is a very cute and lively girl that I've met so far.

She always make our nails session full of fun and laughter.

That's why I did a set of colourful nails for her bubbly character!

Don's CHOIEST Nails

Don came over for his last set of nails being sponsored by me.

He requested for  Chanel Bling plusTiffany & Co.

I started doing a research online to do something different for him.

Then, I remember he told me he wished to have a finger each of all his favourites!

So I added Marc Jacobs, Victoria Secret and Juicy Couture.

Did a full set of 10 fingers unlike his normal visits.

I oso don't understand why he owas do 6 fingers and 4 plain ones. HAHA!!

Decided to throw in more stuffs and did a colourful striped, tweed Chanel and quilted Chanel.

Seashells embellishments with gold base (his favourite all time)

together with a baby pink with minty tips and glitter.

This is getting abit emotional already but I still have to say.

I spotted Don in the CNOS2 posters outside Cineleisure.

I used to be that flea-girl that's doing manicure at Scape every Saturday

He attracted my attention and I decided to approach Angie & Joey like what type of guy is Don.

As I don't want a normal service like just providing classic manicure for males but venturing to open up this nailart to guys as well.

Many of the guys in Japan and Taiwan they do nailart too!

And also, I realised that many Singaporeans - guys that visits my booth on Saturdays at Scape are interested in nailart as they owas ask their gfs to do nailart and even choose the designs for them.

But I was afraid that if I were to email Don, he might think that I'm crazy. LOL!

Thank god he wasn't and he was very glad that I actually approached him.

That's how his journey for nailart started.

I was so happy that every time he comes I will make sure he leaves with the best set of nailart that he requested, but I have to do the nailart in a way that's not too girly for him if not he might be seen as an "ah gua". hahahhahaha ;p

Don, thank you for owas supporting me on the male nailart but attracted so many girls instead.

May you get better for the future and we need to keep in touch ok! 

Or like somedays u feel like having chio nails just drop a text.

I really hope he like those nails ^_^
