Day 12 : Stripes Nails

Day 12 Challenge : Stripes Nails

Nail Polishes Used:
OPI Feelin' Hot-Hot-Hot
Essie Matte About You Topcoat

I choose a hot pink as base colour and striped them off with black acrylic paint.
Added gems and a baby pink crown to make it like Juicy Couture Inspired.
There's still room for improvement for the lines.
My hands still shivering and I'm trying my best to control them while drawing lines and during practices ^_^
How much "yays" for this design?

OPI Fiercely Fiona
China Glaze Shell-O

I used white for the base with colourful polka dots cos colourful stuffs make me happy!
And I hope they make you happy too. :)

Day 10 : Gradient Nails

Day 10 Challenge : Gradient Nails

Nail Polishes Used:
OPI Liquid Sand Can't Let Go
China Glaze Hello Gorgeous
OPI You're Such A Budapest
China Glaze Something Sweet
Seche Vite Quickdry Topcoat

Gradient in plain polish sounds boring to me.
It's just the same when it's french glitter tips gradient.
So, I decided to make things a little bit different but having glitter gradient!
I love how the purple glitter falls on pink glitter and the matte glitter shine is just too beautiful.
I love it! ^_^
I did something sweet for the accent nail to match the overall.
Sweet and cute! Do you like this?

I SUPER LOVE THIS BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL DESIGN!
Was cracking my brains cos I don't like to draw rainbows, they look cute but I couldn't think of anything to match with a rainbow......
Then, my little niece came in and told me "Little Ponies got rainbow dash leh!"
-____-"
I'm not in favour to draw cartoon cos I have proportioning problem.
I can nv perfect eyes of cartoons and they always turned out like weirdos. hahahaha..
Wanted to do an ombre but saw the next challenge is gradient nails.
Stucked already so just anyhow paint first.
Ended up half the rainbow colours and TADAH!
Added glitter topcoat before Seche Vite Quickdry and added blings to enhace them.
GORGEOUS! LOVE IT! ^_^
Do you like them like I do?

Day 8 : Metallic Nails

Day 8 Challenge: Metallic Nails
Nail Polishes Used:
AI Gel Polish No 10
AI Premium Gel Topcoat

A simple yet classy metallic nails for you?
Initially I wanted something like the rocker metallic type using silver but ended up using gold.
Cos I've been doing so much metal rock nails until I'm sick of the colours. LOL!
Did some lace stickers in the middle and added blings to enhance the accent nail.
WOOOHOOO!
I just love it. What's your say for this?

Day 7 : Black and White Nails

Day 7 Challenge : Black and White Nails
Nail Polishes Used:
OPI Black Onyx
OPI Alphine Snow
OPI Birouette My Whistle
Essie Matte Topcoat

A very simple set of black and white nails done. 1 of the black nail I topped it off with the glitter and matte it off. IT'S AWESOME! ^_^
Improving on the nailart as my hands are still shaking as I'm on medication for my heart condition.
Lines and freehand have become a stranger to me. We were once so close but lacking in practice can pull us apart. LOL. I say until like we are in a relationship. Yeah? Now it's like a love and hate thing. HAHA!
I will still continue to work better results but mean time probably I will do more on simple designs and Konading.
Don't look down on stamping art cos it's not really very easy to master the professional stamping.
I really envy those staying in the US cos they have BM stamps etc. and they all stamps and do like a nice la!
I need to buck up.
Alright, enough said. Comments for today's design please.
Cheers^_^

Day 4 : Green Nails

Day 4 Challenge : Green Nails

Nail Polishes Used:
China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle
China Glaze Something Sweet
Essie Matte Topcoat

There are so many different shades of green and I decided to choose mint green for today's nailart challenge.
Mint green has been the trend for quite some time and everywhere on the streets you see people having mint green hair, bags, nails, shoes clothings etc.
I decided to pair this pretty shade with baby pink.
The effect is just too sweet and vintage.
Initially I wanted to do a Cath Kidson inspired nailart but I thought like it's too floral.
Therefore, I changed the idea to a vintage feel with some stripes and dots added.
Topping it off with Essie Matte Topcoat just make this design more awesome!
Didn't know it would turn out so classy.
Ever since the last customer tt did the floral with matte topcoat I'm very into matte nails now.
So that explains why almost every design I top it off with matte topcoat but I super love this!!!!
Share your comments with me. ^_^

Day 3 : Yellow Nails

Day 3 Challenge: Yellow Nails
Nail Polishes Used:
OPI The "IT" Colour
Orly Lemonade
Essie Bottle Service
China Glaze Fairy Dust
Seche Vite Quickdry Topcoat

Yellow always meant sunset to me.
I decided to do an ombre of yellows with the touch of pink for the sunset feel.
Added on a coconut tree and some seashells embellishments.
I think these nails looked great for the summer as they are so vibrant and lively!

Day 2 : Orange Nails

Day 2 Challenge: Orange Nails
Nail Polishes Used:
OPI In My Back Pocket
OPI Black Onyx
Essie Matte Topcoat

I finally did a different feel of matte nails other than rocker nails!
YAYS!^_^
Initially I wanted to top it off using my normal Seche Vite Quickdry but by matting it makes the whole set looks so different!
Before adding the art it was just plain orange with black and they looked abit like pumpkin.
LOL!! After adding the details with a dotting tool and the Konad design, I'm amazed at this new creation!
It may not be too much of freehand but I'm happy with the results.
What's your say for this design? Leave your comments for my improvements.
Cheers ^_^vv

Losing touch

A short update.
Feeling quite upset with myself for losing the passion for nailart as I practice lesser now due to my health condition. I would like to find myself back with the fire I have 4 years back.

Slowly picking myself up from this major fall. I hope to start doing pretty nails for all again soon alright. I'm not ending it but just taking a longer break than usual. I promised I will be back better than before! FIGHTING! ^_^

What's on your nails this weekend?

Like finally after so long I did my nails!
I used electric blue and a teal glitter I bought earlier this year.
I didn't know they could turn out  good together! ^_^
The electric blue looks abit plain so I added some prints using Konad stamping tools.
TADAH! It somehow reminds me of Japanese bowls. HAHA!
